CNBC Cures Advances Awareness and Understanding of Rare Diseases
Rare mom’s Cristina, Becky, and Tara
Our own Cristina Brennan recently attended the CNBC Cures Summit in NYC this past March 3, 2026. Spearheaded by rare mom and co-anchor at CNBC, Becky Quick, the CNBC Cures Summit convened decision-makers from across the world to reimagine healthcare, unlock bold new solutions, and accelerate a future where scientific breakthroughs for the rare disease community drive better outcomes for us all.
Cristina shared that representatives from all the right areas were there - rare advocates, researchers, healthcare experts, pharmaceutical companies, the FDA and financial investors. Even Warren Buffet was in the room! This level of wide reaching awareness of the plight of rare diseases is certainly encouraging for creating interest that will help us all find better treatments and eventual cures.
Many thanks to Becky Quick for using her platform to help all the rares including our STXers!
