Samuel Pierce, PT, PhD, NCS, from the ENGIN Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will review the role of physical therapists as part of the treatment team for children with STXBP1 Disorders. We will discuss the differences between early intervention, school based, and outpatient based physical therapy services. An overview of Interventions and equipment that are typically used with children with STXBP1 will be provided. Finally, issues regarding the transition to adult providers will examined.
